BOSS Accounting & Bookkeeping Services Scope and Limitations
We appreciate the opportunity to provide accounting services to your Arizona company. To ensure a complete understanding between us, the scope and limitations of BOSS’ accounting and bookkeeping services are provided below. Initially, Kevin Marshall, CPA will be the contact person for this engagement, and then it will be turned over to a Staff Accountant for on-going monthly maintenance of your Arizona business account.
What BOSS Will Do:
- We will adjust the records to reflect Generally Accepted Accounting Principles to reflect proper record keeping.
- We will review all accounting transactions.
- We will perform daily bank reconciliations for your bank accounts.
- We will reconcile all balance sheet accounts monthly.
- We will also enter adjusting journal entries as necessary, including depreciation.
- We will assist the company with adopting sound accounting policies, for maintaining an adequate and efficient accounting system, for safeguarding assets, for authorizing transactions, for retaining supporting documentation for those transactions, and for devising a system of internal controls that will, among other things, help assure the preparation of proper financial statements. Additionally, we will assist in the identification and recommendation of cost saving devices.
What BOSS Will NOT Do:
We will make no audit of the data you submit. We may provide reports that contain portions of financial information; these reports are for internal management use only. We do not at any time provide legal services of any type. We have not been requested to discover errors, misrepresentations, fraud, illegal acts, or theft. Therefore, have not included any procedures designed or intended to discover such acts, and you agree we have no responsibility to do so.
What BOSS Needs From its Arizona Clients
To perform our services, we will need to obtain information on a timely and periodic basis from your Arizona company. These items that we obtain from you will be based on information provided by you and will be used without any further verification or investigation on our part.
Hardware and Software Warranties
During the course of the engagement, we may recommend a purchase and installation of computer or technological hardware, software, communications, or services by your company. Warranties, to the extent they exist, are provided only by the manufacturer/vendor of those computer products.
