Kevin Marshall, CPA
Kevin is a successful and unique entrepreneur. He brings both an entrepreneurial spirit and a CPA’s financial acumen to each client situation. This ensures that the innovative solutions he brings to clients are also rooted in strong financial returns.
Professionally, Kevin has been a practicing CPA for over 30 years. He owns a virtual CPA firm that serves clients across the country. They specialize in the difficult; specifically turning around dire financial situations with unique financing, tax mitigation, and business planning solutions.
As an entrepreneur, Kevin has started and sold several businesses. He started a Bed & Breakfast in Connecticut that became one of the top grossing small B&Bs in New England. Kevin profitably sold that business before his last relocation to Tucson AZ, where he wisely went virtual with his CPA and funding business.
Kevin’s awards include Money Magazine - People to Watch and Hartford Business Journal - 40 Under 40. Kevin actively volunteers with Make Way for Books and the Tucson Rotary, and has lent his expertise as Treasurer to numerous non-profit organizations.
Belma has been working for Better Office Solutions behind the scenes since 2007 and has taken a more active role as of 2018 as office manager. Born in Puerto Rico where her mother is from and raised in Turkey where her father is from, she is trilingual. Her diverse cultural background has shaped her love for food, music, and people from all around the world. She is mother to wonderful three children. Although her bachelor’s degree is in Pre-Dent and in Dental Hygiene, her current primary role is in schooling her three children full time. She has been homeschooling since 2012 and the quality time she has had with her kids has made it all the more worth it. Her most favorite thing to do is to dance. It is one of her passions aside from fishing, gardening, painting, and playing the guitar.
Donna has been doing accounting for many years. She first started in accounting with her Father’s CPA firm when she was just a high schooler. Under the guidance of other great accountants along the way, she figured out the ins and outs of the accounting world. Donna joined Better Office Solution in 2007 and has been with BOSS for 12 years. She loves working with our clients in all the varied business ventures they have elected to do.
Carrie received her B.S. in Accounting from the University of Arizona and has worked as an accountant since 1984. Carrie joined Better Office Solutions in 2007 and has been with BOSS since then. She is a third generation Arizonian and continues to live in Arizona. When she is not glued to a computer screen, she spends time working on her ranch, riding horses, and boating.
After receiving her Bachelor’s degree, Jen began working in the computer industry, and realized it really wasn’t really her thing. She loves numbers! She learned QuickBooks and began do bookkeeping for several different companies for the last 18 years. Jen loves everything about bookkeeping. She loves to problem solve and clean up messes! On her off hours, she loves to garden, and hang out with her family.
Stephanie has been a General Ledger Accountant for over 30 years. With her versatile background in accounting, she enjoys helping our clients’ businesses thrive. Her specialty is business GL accounting start up and existing GL accounting “clean up”. In addition, she has extensive audit background, both interfacing with outside auditors and performing internal audits. Stephanie is native to Tucson and is a University of Arizona Alumni. She enjoys training her three young Dressage Sport Horses which she still has at home.
Mike came to Tucson in the 1980s as a hiker and camper and still loves the outdoors. As a follower of Jesus beginning in 1990, he served in Mexico for six years; teaching English and rallying activities for children. He now lives in Tucson again and organizes volunteer projects for young people to clean up messes, paint, garden and more with Serve Tucson. He enjoys reading, walking, games and hospitality.
